230 students at the aged between 8 to 12 year, experienced DRAGAMIS. Their responses in properly defined questionnaires revealed important statistics justifying the need to raise awareness regarding the disease of Diabetes Mellitus and the benefits of following a healthy lifestyle.
- Most of the children (82%) weren’t aware about Diabetes Mellitus
- Most of the children prefer buying cheese pie (45%) and chips from the school canteen (24%)
- 17% of the children are not physical active
The students were particularly engaged and excited by the experience while getting familiar with the concept of glycemic control and realizing the benefits of following a healthy lifestyle.
